| What a great story, I am glad that I read this before starting the next book. I won't tell the end...but Tom's charisma and strength allow him to be a hero, and Huck, who has the same strength and good heart, becomes one as well. | |

| I am glad that I read it, especially when I realized that Huck Finn starts right where the other leaves off. I am glad my notes helped. It is interesting to compare a boy's life then to a boy's life now! | |

| I wonder if the young boys down south in this day and age still have some of the carefree lives. When you are poor you can't really do all the things that we grew up to do.
I'm sure that's true anywhere in the country. | |
