| Once I got on a roll with this one, I also really enjoyed it. I had a little bit of difficulty with the first generations and keeping everyone straight, but was so in to it by the end, I didn't have any trouble. I loved that there were a couple of characters that played a roll through out. The combination of reality and fantasy, made it all seem almost believable. | |

| the mother was a constant through out the book. If i rmember she died very near the end at the age of 140 or somethin | |

| she also was pretty powerful throughout the book, if she chose to exert her control in the family, it was her way. | |
