| Most signinficantly, I noticed the difference in the amount of time and detail portrayed when Christina and company enter heaven compared to Christian. This group clearly dies to reach heaven, and is invited/beconned, by God, in an individual way. They don't seem to have a choice about when they cross over, as evidenced by the author's note about the children possibly still being alive. When Christian reached the cross over, he seemed to be allowed to cross as he was ready with little fan fare.
The end. I will try to complete the second and third stages of inquiry in the next couple of days, so we can get started on Gulliver.
How is everyone else coming along?? | |
