| Christina's pilgrimage seems to be based more on the group dynamics of helping the weak and assisting those who are struggling on their own personal pilgrimages, where Christian's journey was marked by the death and punishment of those that were too weak to complete the journey independently.
Also, it seems as though a significant amount of time has passed during Christina's journey, as her children have grown up, married, and had children of their own. Where Christian seemed to take some time to make his journey, it was obviously much quicker, marked by the age of his sons when his journey was completed. | |
