| Chapter 1
We are introduced to the main character, who is also the narrator of the story. We also get a sense of the environment he is living in and the surrounding areas (the differences between East Egg and West Egg). Nick tells us that he is an intelligent and tolerant individual, but clearly judges not only his cousin and her family but his neighbor as well.
I already like this book better than the last. | |
