I'm reading a book called the Tortilla Curtain. This book looks at immigration across the Mexico/California border from the perspective of two couples. So far the book is hitting on some key points of human interaction, self promotion, and the desire to succeed.

This book was extrmemly thought provoking! Every turn made me as the reader side with both groups of people and empathize, especially with a situation that seems to have no plausible fix, not only in the book but in reality.

A must read, especially considering what is going on with border control.
