The Delight came in and gave Una the news she was expecting. Ahab's death. Una turns to her friends for solace and correspondence. It was a shame that Ahab's and the judges houses burned in the town fire. That was a part of Ahab that Una cherished.

Judge moved to Sconset and Robben made a wonderful threesome for company. It reminded me of Kit, Giles and Una. Is there any connection there.

At the Pleasure Party she meets Ishmael. I really don't think that this book would have meant as much if Moby Dick wasn't read.

Una refuses to listen to Ishmael at first. Most people would want to know what happened, but Una has been to sea so she could only guess what Ahab went through.

After I read Ahabs Wife I felt like I would have to read Moby Dick at some point.

Wow, you read Ahab's Wife first. That must have been interesting.

As you know, I did it in reverse and just loved the book. It's my top one since we started our club.

Kudos to Karen. Best choice yet.

I thought the eventual pairing of the judge and woodworker was interesting and probably unusual for the times, thought I thought that it was a good example of how adaptable Una truely was.

It did cross my mind that once again there were two men in her life again. They were both dear friends.
